International Day of Older Persons (IDOP2021): Celebrations in Vienna and New York
It is with great excitement that we announce the United Nations Intern Day of Older Persons theme for 2021: “Digital Equity for All Ages”. The #UNIDOP202, taking place virtually October 1, 2021, predicates the need for access and meaningful participation in the digital world by older persons.
The 2021 UN International Day of Older Persons will provide a platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue and serve as a call to action. The #UNIDOP2021 will adopt a person centered, human rights approach to ensure digital equity including adequate policies, access, digital literacy and safety for individuals of all ages.

UN International Day of Older Persons (UNIDOP) 2021 is being presented virtually by UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the NGO Committees on Ageing in New York, Geneva and Vienna . Each NGO Committee of Ageing will be hosting an event highlighting the objectives of the #UNIDOP2021.
