Making Finance Work: Turning Intersecting Challenges into Inclusive and Sustainable Outcomes for People and the Planet

Organized by the NGO Committee on Financing for Development

Aligned with the review of SDG 6 on water and sanitation, SDG 7 on energy, SDG 9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure, and SDG 17 on partnerships, this event will examine how financial systems can be better targeted to support integrated outcomes across energy, water, productive

sectors, and inclusive economic participation. The discussion will examine how digital transformation, including artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, and digital financial services, can enhance domestic resource mobilization, expand financial and digital inclusion, and strengthen the efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness of public and financial systems.
