CSVGC-NY September General Meeting

We warmly invite you to join us for our September General Meeting, which will take place online on Wednesday, September 18th, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM (EDT) via Google Meet.

– Opening Moment of Silence

– Keeper of the Sacred: Dr. Joni Carley, representative of Pathways to Peace at the UN; (5 min)

– Celebration of the UN International Day of Peace, featuring a special presentation by Monica Willard, representative of United Religions Initiative (URI) at the UN (10 min)

– Unveiling of the 2025 Spirit of the UN Award Winners — and opportunities to engage and support our upcoming annual ceremony in New York on October 23rd (10 min)

Dr. Joni Carley is a global advisor on values-driven leadership and cultural development. She serves as Vice Chair of the Coalition for Global Citizenship 2030, Senior Fellow at Nonviolence International, and UN Representative for Pathways to Peace. She authored Alchemy of Power and convenes the UN NGO Unitive Cluster.

Monica Willard, URI’s main UN Representative, has championed interfaith and peace initiatives at the UN since 1997. She co-chairs the International Day of Peace NGO Committee, led Religious NGOs (2010–2013), and co-founded the Tripartite Forum. She’s received honors including the Spirit of the UN and Four Chaplains Awards.
