Blueprint to conquer uncertainty
Apart from the above, IMCHK has collaborated with CIO Connect to run a half-day Masterclass with world-renowned expert Professor Dave Snowden, who is one of the Keynote Speakers in the IMCHK Asia Pacific Conference 2025.
Your Masterclass leader : Professor Dave Snowden is a globally recognised expert in complexity theory, strategy, and decision-making. Founder of The Cynefin Company, he pioneered a natural science-based approach to organisations, drawing on themes such as anthropology and complex adaptive systems theory. His HBR paper ‘ A Leader’s framework for decision making’ published in 2007 won that year’s Academy of Management’s award for the publication that provides the most significant contribution to the practice of management in the field of Organizational Behaviour.
The Cynefin framework has revolutionized management science, influencing governments and industries worldwide. A former IBM executive, he led the Institute for Knowledge Management and created the Cynefin Centre for Organisational Complexity. A passionate and engaging speaker, Snowden is known for his pragmatic cynicism, deep insights, and ability to tackle complex challenges.
This intensive half-day masterclass equips leaders and decision-makers with practical tools to thrive in complex environments. Participants gain access to methods developed through the Cynefin Centre’s collaboration with the European Union’s Future Systems Directorate—resources that are backed by a worldwide community of practitioners and an open-source wiki that remains available to all participants after the session.
