DESCRIPTION:Townhall Meeting with the Secretary General and Civil Society  \nin the margins of the sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women \nTuesday\, 11th March 2025\n10.00-11.00am EDT \nDear ECOSOC-accredited organizations\, \nWe welcome you to join the annual Townhall Meeting with the Secretary-General and Civil society on the occasion of the sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). \nThe event will be moderated by UN Women Executive Director\, Sima Sami Bahous and will take place in the General Assembly Hall in the United Nations Secretariat Building. This townhall is open to representatives of ECOSOC-accredited NGOs. We also welcome all to view the live webcast at http://webtv.un.org/. \nWe ask that those interested in attending\, please complete the following form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfR7dv4Y_N0qMX_CIwU2i4VspGmBNWOZFXtOkPsy4VwUlKdqg/viewform?usp=dialog \nPlease also note that the registration form does NOT guarantee you access to the GA Hall and is merely an expression of interest in your part to attend the Townhall. \nRepresentatives will have access to the GA Hall starting 9am EDT on Tuesday 11th March. You will need to present your Grounds Pass to UN Security Officers at the ceremonial stairs in order to enter the chambers. \nThe session will take place in English and will include interpretation services in all official UN languages\, International Sign Language and live closed captioning is available in English.
