DESCRIPTION:Event Title: Leveraging Asia Pacific Powerhouse on Gender Justice  \nEvent Format: In-Person \nDate: 15th March\, 2024 \nTime: 10.30 am to 12 noon (New York time) \nVenue: Room Y\, ACC\, 630 2nd Avenue\, New York \n\nOrganised by the Asian-Pacific Resource & Research Centre For Women (ARROW)\, this parallel event is aimed at initiating a data-driven dialogue among Generation Equality Forum (GEF) commitment-makers. It will also be a space for sharing the analysis of GEF commitments by the data leads of the pilot countries in the Asia pacific Region. \nASPBAE’s Capacity Support and Advocacy Adviser\, Susmita Choudhury\, will be speaking at this event\, showcasing ASPBAE’s advocacy work on education for women’s empowerment\, including ASPBAE’s engagement with various stakeholders (governments\, CSOs\, UN agencies\, international organisations) in Nepal to raise awareness and generate initial analysis on the government of Nepal’s GEF commitments on gender equality including in education. \nFor more information on the CSW68 processes\, please click this link.
