SUMMARY:Global consultation with civil society: Digital Rountable on UNDP’s New Strategic Plan 2026-2029
DESCRIPTION:Dear All\, \nUNDP is pleased to invite you to a dedicated civil society digital roundtable discussion on the new UNDP Strategic Plan 2026-2029\, on Tuesday November 19\, 8.00-9.30 EST. \nThis Roundtable is co-organized by UNDP and civil society representatives and is an integral part of the ongoing global consultations. It will be open to all civil society actors at global\, regional and country level. \nInitial contributions from UNDP senior management and CSO representatives will be followed by an open floor discussion\, where participants will be encouraged to share their valuable inputs on the overarching questions of the strategic plan consultations\, from their experience: \nRegister Here\nUNDP’s current Strategic Plan 2022-2025 describes the organizations’ purpose and goals and establishes a shared vision of what UNDP aims to achieve. It defines how UNDP remains relevant\, responsive and accountable; defines UNDP’s priorities and how the organization adapts to evolving global challenges; helps allocate resources efficiently; and articulates how UNDP will support partners in reaching their long-term goals\, as well as their immediate needs. \nThe organization’s new Strategic Plan 2026-2029 is currently being developed and will be essential to define how UNDP will adapt and lead in a rapidly changing world; to make UNDP contemporary and futures-focused\, agile and anticipatory; and equipped to meet current and emerging global challenges and opportunities. \nTo achieve this\, your unique expertise and insights are invaluable as we co-create a strategic plan grounded in the lived experiences of those we serve. Throughout November\, all partners are invited to join the online consultation and contribute to a shared knowledge base that will inform the new strategy.
