DESCRIPTION:The Feminist Action Nexus on Climate and Economic Justice  \ninvites you to join us for our Global Kickoff \nTuesday\, 12 April 2022 from 12:00 to 15:00 UTC (convert to your time zone here). \nTo register to join us\, please click here.   \nEmerging out of the Generation Equality Forum\, the Action Nexus is co-convened by the African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET)\, the Pan-African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA)\, the Women’s Working Group on Financing for Development (WWG on FfD)\, and the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO). Together with dynamic global South-based activist-intellectuals\, these four organizations have begun to outline a conceptual framework that unpacks the connections between neoliberalism\, patriarchy\, white supremacy\, and colonialism. \nWe invite you to join us as we outline a collective advocacy agenda to advance a vision for a feminist and decolonial global green new deal\, grounded in a blueprint for a feminist agenda for people and planet. This three-hour global kickoff meeting will draw connections between the emerging work of the Action Nexus and the advocacy and activism of feminist movements across the world\, particularly in the global/economic South. \nBeginning with a grounding in the conceptual framework of the Action Nexus\, this action-oriented strategy session will include breakout groups across regions and issue areas.
