CoNGO Members Called to Share Their SDG Journey

As the 28th General Assembly of CoNGO approaches (October 27–29, 2025, New York and online), a new initiative is asking members to help shape the organization’s future impact on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

TruMerit, formerly CGFNS International and a proud CoNGO member, has developed an SDG Survey designed to capture how organizations are advancing Agenda 2030—through independent projects, collaborative networks, or innovative partnerships.

The call for participation builds on a shared commitment made during the 2021 CoNGO Civil Society Summit, where members declared: “Human security is closely linked with Agenda 2030… There can be no relaxation of determination to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, in full and on time.” That message echoed again during the June 2025 Summit of NGO Committees, underscoring the need for stronger multilateral cooperation rooted in human rights approaches.

Survey results will do more than provide a snapshot—they will showcase success stories, measure progress, and identify areas needing greater support. The findings will be presented at the General Assembly and inform CoNGO’s 2026 report to the UN High-Level Political Forum, as well as activities marking the UN80 commemoration.

Members are encouraged to participate by September 15, ensuring their contributions help map a collective vision for peace, prosperity, and sustainability.
