Younger people have a strong presence at the United Nations. They make their voices heard as new policies and programs are developed. Older persons’ voices need to be heard too and are often forgotten in discussions of human rights. Join us in a lively discussion that will explore ways in which advocates for older persons and advocates for youth–the ‘future generation of older people’–can learn to work in partnership to advance human rights throughout the lifespan.
