NGO Briefing on the margins of the first resumed fifteenth session of the Implementation Review Group

Dear ECOSOC NGOs representatives,
We kindly remind you to apply by 19 August to the NGO Briefing on the margins of the first resumed fifteenth session of the Implementation Review Group that will be held on Tuesday, 3 September 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET, in Conference Room M-3, M Building, Vienna International Centre. The briefing is scheduled to be held in person, with the possibility to observe the proceedings remotely.
To apply, an official letter should be sent to uncac@un.org, with the following subject line: NGO briefing– [name of the organization].
The letter should clearly indicate the representatives of your Organization’s delegation who wish to participate in the briefing, and include the following information:
(a) Name(s);
(b) Title(s);
(c) Contact details including individual email addresses, which will be used to grant and verify virtual access to the briefing;
(d) A clear indication of whether the participant(s) will attend in person or will observe the briefing online.
The official letter should be sent no later than 19 August 2024 (no additional registrations will be accepted after that date).
Registered participants who will indicate that they will observe the proceedings online will receive the link from UNODC one day prior to the meeting. They will be able to observe the meeting using the Microsoft Teams platform, without the possibility of making statements. The agenda will be shortly published on the IRG website.
The Briefing will be followed by a segment led by the UNCAC Coalition on CoSP10 follow-up, along with a panel discussion on strengthening civic space to enhance societal participation in anti-corruption efforts, concluding by 13:00 CET.
